Ellen Delate is the Legal Assistant and Paralegal for Potter and Dickson. She has more than fifty years’ experience working for law firms and independently. Ellen obtained her B.A. from the Catholic University of America and was in the foreign service for five-and-a-half years, including service in foreign posts. She earned a J.D. from the Catholic University of America in 1972, and she concentrated on work in real estate transactions and law, and landlord/tenant law in the District of Columbia and Maryland for seven years, and thereafter in representation before government agencies and federal courts in the District of Columbia and Maryland of victims of employment discrimination on the grounds of race, disability and gender, in addition to employment contract enforcement.
Ellen returned to her home state New Jersey, and has worked since 1992 as a legal assistant and paralegal to Bill Potter when he was a solo practitioner, and to Potter and Dickson since 1995.
